Welcome, I’m glad you’re here! I take a warm and direct approach to therapy. I practice trauma-informed and socially-conscious psychodynamic psychotherapy. I help my clients see connections between their symptoms and their histories, name the unnameable and move towards deeper self understanding and capacity.
I see folks via telehealth across California and in person in Pasadena, California. I serve neighboring areas of Highland Park, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, Highland Park and Greater Los Angeles. I am in network with a few major insurance providers and see folks on a generous sliding scale to help high quality, depth oriented psychotherapy feel accessible, particularly for the LGBTQIA+ community.
My Approach

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a type of therapy that encourages open dialogue and an exploration of patterns. I consider things like unconscious forces that may be at play in challenges that manifest in psychological symptoms. This encourages self understanding and insight, and development of new ways to relate to others and ones self.

Therapy with a relational approach involves careful attention to building a foundation, attending to shifts in the dynamic. This is to aid in understanding how we relate to others and ourselves, deepening the therapeutic work.
