Frequently Asked Questions
Do you see clients via telehealth?
I see clients both via telehealth and in-person in my office in Pasadena, California.
What are your fees?
Individual therapy cost is $160 / session. Couples therapy cost is $180 / session.
Do you accept insurance?
I no longer accepting insurance but can provide a super bill if your insurance is out of network. Most clients with PPO insurance plans receive generous reimbursements. Please verify with your individual plan regarding out of network benefits prior to the start of therapy.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I do offer a sliding scale and believe therapy should be accessible. I reference the radical history clubs’ version of sliding scale tiers to help clients determine their comfort with a fee for therapy. Here’s what I have open-
Individual therapy:
$130-160 / 50 minute session - slots available
$100-130 / 50 minute session - limited slots available
< $100 / 50 minute session - 0 slots available
How frequently should I be coming to therapy?
Since the nature of my work is depth-oriented and relational, I recommend weekly or twice a week sessions. I am more flexible on the fee for multiple-times-a-week therapy. I rarely take on new clients at a biweekly pace. I am happy to discuss with you a plan that makes sense for you.
What if I’m not sure if I want to begin therapy?
I provide a free 20 minute consultation for new clients to discuss goals and answer any questions you have before beginning.
